The Baldoyle Badminton Centre hosted the Leinster U/14 Schools finals on Tuesday 6th of March 07. Paddy Harte, tournament organiser, had the match schedule running on time and in the boys Div 1, it was a repeat of the Dublin Final a week earlier where Terenure College took on Gormanston College. The Terenure team captained by Rory Curry went on to beat the Gormanston boy’s 4-2 and take their place in the all Ireland Finals on the 29th of March in Gormanston College. Rory joined by his fellow teammates Graham Doyle, Adam Jerymn, and Cian Donnelly will hopefully march on and win the All Ireland finals later this month.

In the Leinster finals in Baldoyle last Tuesday their were no surprises in the winners of the Boys Division 1 and Divisions 2:  Wesley College and Terenure College will travel to the All Irelands on March 28th 2007 (Gormanton) Wesley Team: David Tutty, Steven Taylor, Sam Teo, Garreth Peoples. Terenure Team: Danial Sinnott, Ronan Mc Donagh, John Halligan, Robert Coleman.

In the Girls Division 1 St Vincent’s (Dundalk) had an easy win over Kilkenny with a 4-1 win. So Ashleigh Coyne, Ann Cartney, Jane Cunningham and Sarah Grehan will follow the Wesley and Terenure boys out to the All Irelands!!
