At the youngest U/11 age-group, there were several stories to be told. Mark Gannon who is the 3rd generation of Gannon’s to play badminton, with his Dad “Niall” who played for Ireland and has a doubles National title, whilst his grandparents Christy and Mary (Coach) can still be seen at many a tournament around the country, ps.Uncle David can hit a shuttle or two I think!!!!!!!!!!!

On the last day of the Dublin Badminton Open many competitors and their parents travelled to Terenure College. The final day was set aside for our young stars with the U/13 and U11 age groups battling it out for prizes.
