Leinster Juvenile Close 27-30 Dec 2006

At the U/13's, there was as much energy in these matches as you would see in any of the age groups. Liam O Leary  and Louise Griffin made it all the way to 3 finals each.

He claimed his Singles title by beating Knocklyons C.C. student Mark White.21-16, 21-11.Then the Dundalk lad teamed up with Gormanstown College pupil Shane Curran to win the boys doubles by beating Knocklyon pair White and Darren Leonard 21-12,21-11.O Leary’s final trophy was the Mixed title where he paired up with Wexfords Clodagh Kent. They bet Shane Curran and Louise Griffin 21-14,24-22.

In the Girls singles event, Clodagh Kent bet Louise Griffin 21-12,23-21, but although Griffin was in all 3 finals she did not go home empty handed, she won the girls doubles title with partner Aisling Golden (Belgrove SS), they bet Wexfords St Fintans Pair of Kent and Ciara Dunne, it was a fabulous 3 setter 21-16,11-21,21-15.
