European Men's Team Championships (Thomas Cup) 2010 - Team Announced
Congratulations to Leinster's Scott and Niall who will Play for Ireland in Warsaw....Photo Tech winning the Victor Leinster Open.
The European Men's Team Championships take place in Warsaw, Poland on 16th - 21st February 2010. This event is also the European continental qualifier for the World Men's & Women's Team Championships, better known as the Thomas & Uber Cups, which will be held in Indonesia later in the year.

Badminton Ireland is pleased to announce today the following team for the upcoming European Men's Team Championships to be held in Warsaw from 16th - 21st February 2010:
Scott Evans (Leinster)
Sam Magee (Ulster)
Tony Stephenson (Ulster)
Niall Tierney (Leinster)
Daniel Magee (Ulster)
Selectors - Jim Laugesen / Tom Causer
Non-travelling reserves are Matthew Gleave (Ulster), Will O'Neill (Leinster), Alex Sim (Ulster), Scott Burnside (Ulster) & David Tutty (Leinster).
Ireland face the Netherlands, Greece & Estonia in Group C with the winner of the group progressing to the elimination stages.
We wish the team the very best of luck in Warsaw.
After careful consideration by the high performance group and the Board, Badminton Ireland will only be competing in the Men's Team Championships
