There was a fantastic end to the Badminton Summer Camp in Kilcullen on Sunday, July 20th. LBBUI President Breda Connolly came down to Kildare to present certificates & prizes to the 42 children who took part in the biggest Summer Camp ever held in Co.Kildare. The 5 day camp, which was headed by International player Claire Flood and her team of Badminton Ireland coaches, proved so popular that a Teen Camp is now being planned by Sheila & Claire.

A good luck card was signed by everyone and a gift of  50 euro sent to Scott Evans for his trip to the Beijing Olympics from the young players of Kildare. Special thanks to all committee members for providing refreshments for parents and children alike and to Badminton Ireland for Free T-Shirts and Pens.
