With the “Women in Sport” initiative and over a two-week tour, Brenda and the very talented Swedish coach Jens Eriksson ran well organised badminton camps around Ireland, starting off with a week in the Methodist College Belfast then onto two day camps in Connacht, Limerick and Dublin.

Jens who was mainly assisted by Irelands Daniel Magee also had local coaches in attendance. BI and Brenda Barry must be commended as it was a tiring schedule but over 100 of Irelands top juvenile players were coached on and off the court, and hopefully gained new skills for the coming season.
