12 Teams, 72 players took part in Division 1, Division 2 and Grades 5 & 6. Entry fee included lunch provided by Sheila Smyth - fruit, drinks, juice & snacks provided on court side plus a free raffle for all players. Martyn Evans Sports sponsored a racquet prize and DataSolutions sponsored computer cases & software. Joe Buckley, Vice-President of Leinster Branh presented winners and runner up trophies and drew raffle numbers. A special presentation of a floral bouguet was presented by John Scully on behalf of the players to Sheila Smyth for providing food & the organisation all day.

After a fantastic day of badminton,a night of activities was organised by Claire Flood which included Sports quiz, bingo ,music and dancing till late. CMF Badminton Club created by Claire Flood over a year ago has gone from strength to strength bringing a new dimention to Badminton in Leinster.

The Adult Summer Bonanza is back and is taking place on July 26th & 27th in Terenure Badminton Centre. This year the bonanza will be over two days, with the following schedule of grades:
Saturday, July 26th- Senior 1, Classes 1, 2 & 3
Sunday, July 27th- Classes 4, 5, 6 & Social.
Already there is plenty of interest in the Bonanza so please get your entries in early as the deadline for entries is Friday, July 18th and no later!
