The South West Leinster Badminton League decide that as its celebrating its 60th anniversary this year they would hold all 7 of their league finals in Leinster headquarters this year.

This proved very successful with some very exciting and hard fought games that everyone seemed to enjoy. For some players this was the first time playing in Whitehall Road and others had not played there for some time.

After some thrilling games Carlow L T C won grade 1,Gurteen won grade 2,Baltinglass won grade 3,Rahan won grade 4, Bough won grades 5 and 6 and Carlow Y M won grade 7. These teams now go forward to represent the league in the Leinster Inter league competition.
