This went to 3 sets with Marron & Rooney clinching the 3rd 21-18.
In the ladies event, Ciara Brady (St Mary’s Glasnevin) won the singles by beating Caroline Oliver 21-10, 21-13.
Then Brady teamed on with Wexford’s Laura Butler (Colaiste Brid) to take the Ladies doubles title against Dublin duo Rooney&Oliver winning in 2 sets 22-20, 21-17.
